We are currently entering the 5th week of the semester and we all hope you guys are doing great! Here at ISC, while we are not able to host any in-person events because of social distancing restrictions, that doesn’t mean we have to let club activities come to a halt.

On September 5th, we had hosted our first online event of Fall 2020 we called “International Tea Time”! We had international students and friends join us in a group video call where we got to meet new friends, played different games, and overall just had a fun night talking with great people for a couple of hours.

The Japanese and Korean committees had each hosted a couple of their own activities. The Japanese committee created a game where people would introduce themselves and have a random member in the call try to draw them based on the descriptions given. They had also played a game of charades over webcams. The Korean committee hosted a long game of skribbl.io where everyone takes turns drawing something while the rest tries to guess what the drawing is.

Overall we hope everyone who joined had a fun time! We will also be hosting more future online events throughout the semester so look forward to those. The next upcoming event we have is “Virtual Game Night” where we will be playing PUBG and Among Us. If you would like to join us, it will be on September 27, 2020 from 7:00PM to 9:00PM HST over ZOOM. We will post the room info on our Instagram page. We hope to see you there!
