Midterms are over and we hope everyone has been doing well and got the grades they wanted! While midterms were coming up, ISC had hosted another event that our Korean committee had thought up of that we called “Virtual Game Night”. Virtual Game Night had happened on September 27th and was a nice little break from studying and stressing about exams.
We had hosted a couple of games for our members to play. The two games being “PUBG Mobile” and “Among Us”.
PUBG is a battle royale game where a bunch of players are dropped from a plane onto unknown land or an island where they are forced to gather weapons and items in order for them to survive from other players. The last squad remaining in the end ultimately wins the game.
Among Us is a game about a group of astronauts trying to complete tasks for their damaged ship in space while a couple of the players are imposters trying to kill the crewmembers as they go along. While completing tasks and finding bodies, the crewmates are also trying to figure out and expose who the two imposters are. Most members had been playing Among Us for the duration of the event. We even had a few guests that weren’t members of the club join us.
Thank you to everyone who spent the time to attend this event with us, even as your schedules get busier throughout the semester. A game made for lying and deceiving isn’t really a great first impression to make on people but we hope that everyone who joined had a great time while doing so!
