ISC Ghost Tour Event

Hawaii is an ancient place rich with a vibrant culture and history. This beautiful island is also well-known for their ghost stories of the supernatural roaming the islands. On October 11th, our ISC Officers embarked on the famous O’ahu Ghost Tours and were taken to some of the most haunted places on O'ahu to witness these experiences firsthand.

The tour’s starting point was located in the center of town near the Ala Moana Hotel. Before boarding the shuttle at around 7:00 pm, we were given an important briefing on the rules to follow upon entering each location and tips to gain the most out of the unique experience. This includes being respectful while learning of the island’s history, properly cleansing ourselves of negative energy, being fully aware of the surrounding risks, and taking photos to capture any evidence of spiritual phenomena. From there, we traveled to 5 haunted sites led by a very experienced tour guide known as Uncle Joe.

Sites Visited:

- Queen Emma’s Summer Palace of Nu'uanu Valley Park

- “Morgan’s Corner”

- Agricultural Heiau

- Manoa Falls

- World War II Memorial

Being the expert storyteller he is, Uncle Joe continued to feed us his knowledge of Ancient Hawaiian culture and share his own personal experiences of paranormal encounters connected to the land. It was extremely fascinating that all stories were true, and all sites are very real. Historical and ancestral information was used, as well as eye witness accounts.

Whether you are a skeptic or a strong believer in the existence of ghosts, so many interesting things can be learned from going on the ghost tours— many of us left with a positive energy and a deeper appreciation for the land and culture. Definitely a 10/10 experience recommended for anyone who enjoys exploring historical sites and ghost-hunting!
